Ever since I was a little girl, and up to this day at 45 years old, my heart has always beaten with a deep passion for jewelry. I have always seen it as a silent language that expresses the soul, and a magical touch that brings out our inner beauty. But, for many years, my personal story with jewelry always ended in pain and frustration.

Every time I bought a piece that captured my heart, my body would firmly reject it. Cheap, commercial metals would leave my skin inflamed and irritated, stealing my joy and forcing me to take off the pieces I loved so much. It was a heartbreaking feeling—standing in front of the mirror, completely in love with your look, only to have to give it up because it hurts you.
